I would agree that Defoe is a pretty big name/talent to essentially be your 4th striker, but he has stated publically two or three times that if he had wanted to go somewhere else he would be gone by now. Personally, I think he'd be better off at a smaller club where they mostly pack it in at the back and look to counter attack. In my opinion he excells at going one on one and getting out on the break, but doesn't have very good vision and or create chances for other players. Since, Tottenham likes to attack more as a team he will be the odd man out once again this year, and if teams are willing to pay the reported 12 mil. pounds I think Tottenham should seriously consider it. On the other hand Robbie Keane isn't going to be around forever and Berbatov, although an animal right now, isn't exactly young.
